Lifting up Jesus on the Cape

Know Jesus Deeply // Show Jesus Daily

Thank you for visiting our church website! We have finally acquired a building for church services! There is still much work to be done, but we hope to have it ready for the community in early 2022. The address is 657 RT 28, West Yarmouth in the rear building. If you have any questions or would like more information, please call (508)321-3063, or contact us via email. Scroll down our website to see what we’re about, see a note from our pastor, find the link for online giving, hear recent sermons, and at the bottom of this page you’ll find out the answer to the most important question in life – Why does Jesus matter?

Coastline is a place for people of all walks of life. Whether you are a young family, a single adult, a student working your way through college, or enjoying retirement – Coastline is for you! We are a Bible-preaching church on the Cape with a simple mission: to give you hope, to show you God’s love, and to help you find purpose – all through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire is this: to know Jesus deeply, and to show Jesus daily.

Since our launch last fall, God has given us a great foundation to build on! Please pray for us as we make preparations to move into our new meeting space. If you are interested in attending in the midst of our preparations, let us know and we would be glad to tell you more about our temporary meeting place and our weekly service. If you would like to financially support us with the costs of the church startup, or give your weekly tithes and offerings, please click the link below!

A Note from the Pastor

Thanks for visiting our church website! My name is Donald Sevigne, and I am a native New Englander from Holyoke, MA.  I married my high school sweetheart, Marissa, in May of 2010, and together we served in full-time youth ministry from 2012-2018 in the Midwest. God has given us a heart for the kingdom of God, and we are looking forward to spending our lives reaching people on Cape Cod. We have been blessed with four boys: Donald Jr. (June 2011) Seth (January 2013) Charlie (May 2015) and Brady (October 2016). Our second born, Seth John, was diagnosed with autism in March of 2017. God has guided us each step of the way in this situation. He is nonverbal and suffers from Sensory Processing Disorder, among other challenges. God has been so good to us, and has taught us so much through our journey with Seth! Our family would love to meet you, so please come and check out Coastline!

What We Believe

We believe there is one God. We believe the Bible is His word to mankind and is our authority for faith and practice. We believe He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ to die for the sins of the world. We believe the Holy Spirit brings mankind to the understanding of their eternal fate and lives inside of a believer after salvation. We believe the only way to have eternal life in Heaven is to listen to the Holy Spirit and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. We believe the local church is made up of those who have accepted Christ. We believe it is the responsibility of all believers to actively share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ with those who are lost. We believe that Jesus Christ will return one day to establish His kingdom here on earth.

He exceeds all expectations.

Jesus said He was God. He proved it by His life, His words, His deeds, and His love. “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)” (Ephesians 2:4–5). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Our sin separates us from God and requires the payment of death (Romans 3:23, 6:23). Yet, because Jesus died for you, you don’t have to pay for your own sins! “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day…” (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

Here’s how Jesus said it: “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life…” (John 3:36).  “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25)

Going to Heaven isn’t about being good or religious. It’s about trusting Jesus. Call out to Him, ask Him to come into your life, save you from sin, and give you His gift of eternal life. It’s the best decision you will ever make. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). Please contact us and let us know that you’ve made this decision!
