Donald Sevigne is a native New Englander from Holyoke, MA. Go Pats! He attended a small seminary in central CA after high school, and married his high school sweetheart shortly after in May of 2010. He served in full-time youth ministry from 2012-2018. God has given Donald and Marissa a heart for God, and they are looking forward to spending their lives reaching people on Cape Cod. They have been blessed with four boys: Donald Jr. (June 2011) Seth (January 2013) Charlie (May 2015) and Brady (October 2016). Our second born, Seth John, was diagnosed with autism in March of 2017. God has guided them each step of the way in this situation. He is nonverbal and suffers from Sensory Processing Disorder, among other challenges. God has been so good to them, and has taught them much through their journey with Seth!
We believe there is one God. We believe the Bible is His word to mankind and is our authority for faith and practice. We believe He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ to die for the sins of the world. We believe the Holy Spirit brings mankind to the understanding of their eternal fate and lives inside of a believer after salvation. We believe the only way to have eternal life in Heaven is to listen to the Holy Spirit and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. We believe the local church is made up of those who have accepted Christ. We believe it is the responsibility of all believers to actively share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ with those who are lost. We believe that Jesus Christ will return one day to establish His kingdom here on earth.
Jesus said He was God. He proved it by His life, His words, His deeds, and His love. “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)” (Ephesians 2:4–5). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
Our sin separates us from God and requires the payment of death (Romans 3:23, 6:23). Yet, because Jesus died for you, you don’t have to pay for your own sins! “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day…” (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
Here’s how Jesus said it: “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life…” (John 3:36). “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25)
Going to Heaven isn’t about being good or religious. It’s about trusting Jesus. Call out to Him, ask Him to come into your life, save you from sin, and give you His gift of eternal life. It’s the best decision you will ever make. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). Please contact us and let us know that you’ve made this decision!
